The short version: we don't collect your name, email, or any personal information when you browse the store. We record aggregate click data to improve our book picks, use Google Analytics for traffic insights, and record phone calls when you call us. That's it.

What we collect

Book click data. When you click a "Buy on Amazon" button, we log the book's ASIN, category, and timestamp to our database. No personal identifier is stored — the record contains no name, IP address, or session ID. This data is used exclusively to inform which books Allo places on his shelves.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic region (country/city level), device type, and referral source. This data is collected via cookies and processed by Google. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Phone calls. If you call +1 650 761 7435, the call is recorded. You are notified of this at the start of every call. Recordings are used to improve the quality of the AI agent's responses and are not shared with third parties. Calls are handled by Twilio, Inc.

What we don't collect

No account registration or login — we have no user accounts.
No email addresses or names (unless you write to us directly).
No payment information — all purchases happen on Amazon's platform.
No persistent tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics.

Amazon Associates. byallo.com participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Links to Amazon products are affiliate links — we earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. See Affiliate Disclosure below.
Google Analytics. Web analytics service by Google LLC. Google Privacy Policy.
Firebase / Google Cloud. Our database and hosting run on Google Cloud infrastructure (project hosted in the US). Firebase Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We use cookies set by Google Analytics for traffic measurement. No other persistent cookies are set by byallo.com. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out link above.

Data retention

Book click records are retained indefinitely for curation analytics. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (26 months). Call recordings are retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect no personal identifiers for browsing activity, there is typically nothing to retrieve. For questions or deletion requests, write to allo@momentalos.com.
